l laid out my quilt for the first time today - it's not all pieced
together yet, but I think this is basically what it's going to look
like. I'm excited!

I'm at my grandparents house and I just read an article about how

also, apparently in a year there is going to be a major "solar storm"
of heightened sunspot activity that is going to, like, end the world
basically. has ne1 else heard about this?? it's time to go off the

so last night my roommates were going out to the new bar around the corner and i pretended to get all mad that they hadn't formally invited me, to which deirdre responded that she knew i wouldn't want to come anyway that i just wanted to curl up with the kittens on the couch and watch csi on demand, i freaked out like HOW DID YOU READ MY MIND CRISS ANGEL MINDFREAK STYLE
anyway, the point is that everybody knows and teases me about my affection for crime shows, so imagine my GLEE when, around 10:00am, who else but the SECRET SERVICE shows up at the house, asking questions about the landlord. apparently he is involved in a bunch of fraud and is in all sorts of trouble - they wanted to see our kitchen and wanted to know if we had any "granite tabletops or stainless steel fixtures," which was loling if you have ever seen our kitchen. they asked me all sorts of questions and i felt kind of bad answering because i think the landlord's a nice guy, but i was still exhilarated to be a part of an active investigation hahaaaa. MOST lollin part was when they asked if they could look around a little and said "don't worry, we don't care about marijuana or anything, we're not narcs." i laughed so hard and i was like I AM A NARC. neways the hot one gave me his card maybe i will call him 4 a date!

ok so i was going to post a bunch of pics and all that saying this is what i did over the holidays, isn't that great? aren't these pics kewt? but then i realized that i'm lazy and probably nobody cares. the only really interesting thing about being home for the holidays was that i got sick in the worst way and so did almost everyone else i came in contact with. the best thing was that i got to see the true loves of my life: emma, katie, legacy, jed, sean...ONE LUV. new years was a bummer in a lot of ways and the only good thing about it was i got to see this AWESOME "3D sonogram" of my soon-to-be new next door neighboris that unbelievable or what?

my reentry to philadelphia was excellent as i came back on my birthday and had CAKEwith my beautiful grandparents - this is my nannie posing with a "tv blanket" i just finished crochetingand then i went out to dinner with dearfriends and todd to this kind of absurd mexican restaurant called distrito
so now i'm back in philadelphia and settling in again but i am also stressing really hard about the mcats and the future and it's paralyzing my work ethic. i have been working overtime at work just because i don't want to have to study and need an excuse. also trying to hoard money for what will hopefully be an exciting adventure this summer after all of this medschoolmess is over.
